Compare platform profit

The result compares entered order economics only. It does not measure customer demand, traffic, advertising needed to earn a sale, returns or listing eligibility. Use it alongside your product fit and actual acquisition cost.

The item price, charged shipping, buyer tax estimate, product cost, actual outbound shipping, packaging, entered ad dollars and other common costs. Each platform uses its own fee bases, selected plan and category. Amazon uses FBM; Shopify uses a domestic standard online card.

All fee rules & sources
Does the platform with the most profit win?

The result compares entered order economics only. It does not measure customer demand, traffic, advertising needed to earn a sale, returns or listing eligibility. Use it alongside your product fit and actual acquisition cost.

What is held constant in the comparison?

The item price, charged shipping, buyer tax estimate, product cost, actual outbound shipping, packaging, entered ad dollars and other common costs. Each platform uses its own fee bases, selected plan and category. Amazon uses FBM; Shopify uses a domestic standard online card.

Why is Etsy different when I choose an Offsite Ads rate?

Only attributed Etsy orders pay the selected 15% or 12% Offsite Ads fee, capped at $100 per order. Other entered ad dollars are common to all platforms and must exclude the Etsy Offsite Ads fee already calculated.

What costs need a separate check?

Amazon FBA is available in its dedicated calculator, and Shopify premium, international or third-party payment scenarios are in its dedicated calculator. eBay Store subscriptions, platform-specific returns and additional expenses need consistent allocations. The comparison does not infer those costs or account eligibility.
